Rib Roast is unique in flavour and extremely juicy. The meat is cut from the ribs of American cattle that live on wide open plains and are fed grain for at least 120 days.

Rib Roast is extremely tasty on its own, so you don't really need to add anything except some salt and pepper. But maybe you would like to do a little more than just serve your Rib Roast with salt and pepper? Then why not combine it with mushrooms or carrots? A combination of Rib Roast with blue cheese butter is also great. Whatever choice you make, the meats from The Meatlovers are guaranteed to give you the ultimate taste sensation!

Put  the meat in the fridge 24 hours before usage. This is a food safe method to thaw the meat.

Use a frying pan with fat (oil, butter or lard) until golden brown, 2 minutes on each side.
Set to low heat and let it thread for 3 minutes, turn regulary.  
Add salt and pepper.

Rib Roast can also be prepared on a grill or barbecue.

Rib Roast with blue cheese butter

2-4 persons


  • 2 Rib Roast steaks
  • 90g Butter
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 75g Blue cheese
  • 250g mushrooms (your choice)
  • Fresh parsley
  • Pepper
  • Salt

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper. Melt butter in an ovenproof pan and fry the meat for 1-2 minutes on each side. Put the pan in the oven for 12-15 minutes, then take it out and set aside.

Mix 75 grams of butter with blue cheese. Season with salt and pepper and parsley.

Melt the remaining butter in a pan, add the mushrooms and cook until soft.

Serve the rib roast with mushrooms and blue cheese butter.
