Lamb Fillet in fig sauce

Chop the figs fine. Boil them in balsamic vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce and Madeira for about 5 minutes until it becomes a syrupy mixture. Stir the stock in. Bring to boil and cook for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, bake the lamb fillets according to the instructions on the packaging and serve with fig sauce. |
