US Steak with pomegranate

Chop the shallot finely. Remove all the 'seeds' from the pomegranate. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Set aside. Cut the garlic with the anchovy fillet until it forms a fine paste. Mix the honey with the shallot, pomegranate molasses, balsamic cream, red wine vinegar, red wine, olive oil and a pinch of salt. Rub the US Steaks with this mixture and let it marinate for a day, preferably covered. Remove as much marinade as possible from the steaks with your hands and keep it. Set aside. Cook the burgers according to the instructions on the package. Let it rest for another 5-10 minutes before serving. Put another pan on the heat and add the marinade to it. Add the meat juices from the grilling pan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and let it reduce until it becomes thicker. Turn off the heat and add the pomegranate seeds. Season with salt and pepper. |
